As a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer, you will help shape the future of healthcare by designing, developing, and maintaining Windows desktop applications that support Medtronic’s medical devices. ## What you'll do - Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications with hardware integration capabilities. - Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements, define technical solutions, and support product development initiatives. - Execute software testing and debugging activities to identify, analyze, and resolve defects. - Create and maintain technical documentation for regulatory compliance and product development. - Contribute throughout the product lifecycle—from planning and design to release, deployment, and post‑release support. - Apply Agile development methodologies and best practices to deliver high‑quality solutions. - Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, software quality, and development efficiency. ## Required qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - 8–12 years of software development experience, including Windows desktop application development. - 6+ years of experience with C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and related Windows technologies. - Experience developing graphical user interface (GUI) applications and integrating software with hardware devices. - Strong understanding of object‑oriented design principles, software architecture patterns, and application design patterns. - Proven experience working in Agile software development environments. ## Benefits & compensation Medtronic offers a competitive salary and a flexible benefits package designed to support employees at every career and life stage.
