## About the role T. Rowe Price’s Multi-Asset Front Office Technology team is building a suite of next‑generation, cloud‑native applications that support the Investment Division. As a Software Engineer you will work across the full product lifecycle – from design and development to deployment and continuous enhancement – collaborating closely with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders, and senior stakeholders. ## What you’ll do - Contribute to engineering excellence by writing clean, test‑driven code and participating in code reviews. - Develop full‑stack solutions using modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Spring Boot, and leverage cloud technologies, containerization, and serverless architectures. - Work with data‑intensive systems, integrating databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redshift. - Partner with front‑office business clients to translate financial requirements into robust software features. - Participate in agile development cycles, continuous delivery pipelines, and iterative delivery of high‑value solutions. ## Required qualifications - BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript). - Experience with modern frameworks/tools: Pandas, React, Node.js, Spring Boot. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and serverless architectures. - Strong understanding of testing practices (TDD, BDD, Cucumber, Cypress) and database technologies. - Knowledge of statistical, time‑series, or optimization concepts relevant to multi‑asset investing is a plus. - Exposure to AI/LLM engineering patterns (agent orchestration, prompt engineering, monitoring) is desirable. ## Benefits - Competitive base salary ranging from $97,000 to $206,000 (USD) depending on location and experience. - Annual bonus eligibility and discretionary equity components. - Generous retirement plan, health and wellness benefits, paid time off, and family‑care resources. - Hybrid work schedule (up to three days per week remote) supporting work‑life balance. - Inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, continuous learning, and community impact.
