## About the role Due to NSA requirements for this position, sponsorship will not be offered. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. Nokia Space Networks focuses on creating customized LTE and 5G commercial RAN, Cloud, and Core products, and is advancing satellite‑based communications through the NTN project in partnership with AST Space Mobile. ## What you'll do - Work on prototyping and product development of 5G network solutions. - Support the automation and improvement of the software development environment and associated tools. - Participate in the design, build, and maintenance of the development verification lab. ## Required qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. - Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Bash, C/C++, and Go/Golang. - Proficiency with Git and Linux environments. - Excellent problem‑solving and debugging abilities. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development lifecycle and tools. - Nice‑to‑have: prior co‑op or internship experience at Nokia or Infinera. ## Benefits Nokia offers a collaborative environment focused on cutting‑edge 5G and satellite technologies, with opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
