## About the Role We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This entry‑level opportunity is ideal for candidates with foundational programming knowledge who want practical, hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment. ## What You'll Do - Assist with developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications. - Write clean, readable, and maintainable code under guidance of senior developers. - Participate in code reviews, incorporate feedback, and use version‑control systems such as Git. - Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and other software components; write basic SQL queries as needed. - Create technical documentation and support QA activities to ensure reliable releases. ## Required Qualifications - 0–2 years of software‑development experience (internships, academic projects, personal projects, etc.). - Foundational knowledge of at least one language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Basic understanding of OOP, debugging, testing, version control, and databases/SQL. - Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a distributed team. ## Preferred Qualifications & Benefits - Experience with REST APIs, web‑development concepts, and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with unit testing, cloud platforms, and modern development tools. - Competitive salary ($80k‑$105k/yr) and full‑time W‑2 benefits. - Fully remote work arrangement for candidates residing in the United States.
