## About the Role Jobright.ai is an AI‑powered job search platform looking for a recent graduate to join as a Python Engineer. You will help build and maintain backend services, data pipelines, APIs, and AI‑driven workflows that power the product used by real job seekers. ## What You'll Do - Build and maintain Python services, APIs, and data pipelines. - Develop reliable integrations with AI and third‑party services. - Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while debugging issues and improving system performance. - Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists, contributing to technical documentation and code reviews. ## Required Qualifications - Recent graduate or graduating soon in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong Python programming skills. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals. - Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, databases, and debugging. - Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely when needed. ## Preferred Skills & Experience - Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks. - Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with asynchronous systems or data pipelines. - Interest in LLMs, AI agents, or recommendation systems. ## Benefits - Work on production AI agents used by real users. - High ownership and impact on product direction. - Opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, agents, and product development. - Collaborative environment with engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
