## About the Role The Senior Software Engineer I will develop high‑quality, innovative software solutions that meet rigorous coding standards. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure that designs, code, and tests are delivered on time while aligning with industry and organizational best practices. ## Core Responsibilities - **System Engineering**: Design, build, and maintain large‑scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems. - **Agile Participation**: Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and demos. - **Operational Excellence**: Debug production issues across multiple stack layers and support critical systems. - **Mentorship & Influence**: Guide team members by sharing facts, policies, and best practices. - **Standards & Tooling**: Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes. - **Quality & Validation**: Review code for correctness, structure, and compliance; participate in testing and certification. ## Required Qualifications - Proven experience in **Agile Methodology**. - Strong proficiency in **Golang** (Java or Python expertise acceptable with a transition to Go). - Deep knowledge of **microservices architecture**, containerization (**Docker**, **Kubernetes**). - Experience designing distributed systems handling high traffic and large datasets. - Proficiency with both **SQL** and **NoSQL** databases. - Comprehensive understanding of the full **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)**. ## Preferred Qualifications - Background in **cybersecurity**, especially building or maintaining SIEM or Vulnerability Management products. - Familiarity with security protocols, encryption, and common vulnerability frameworks. - Experience with **Jira**, **Confluence**, and CI/CD pipelines. - Active participation in professional conferences or specialized tech groups. ## Benefits ConnectWise offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to cutting‑edge security technologies.
