## About the Role Shree Lagan Sarees is a retail business specializing in traditional and contemporary sarees and related ethnic wear. Based in Kanpur, the store serves a diverse customer base with a wide variety of fabrics, designs, and price ranges. Team members work closely with customers to help them find products that match their style, budget, and event needs. ## What You'll Do - Greet customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable sarees and related products. - Assist with product selection, explain fabric types and designs, and handle billing and cash transactions. - Maintain accurate sales records, organize and replenish stock, and keep the store clean and visually appealing. - Support promotional activities, seasonal displays, and overall store operations to ensure a welcoming environment. ## Required Qualifications - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage politely and professionally. - Basic sales and retail skills, including product presentation, upselling, and accurate cash/e‑payment handling. - Ability to understand and explain different fabrics, designs, and styles of sarees (training can be provided). - Good communication skills in local languages and basic English. - Reliable time‑management and organizational skills to manage multiple customers and store displays. - Comfort with standing for extended periods in a busy retail environment. - Prior garment or retail sales experience is an advantage but not mandatory. - High school education or equivalent is preferred. ## Benefits The posting does not specify additional benefits, but the role offers full‑time, on‑site employment with the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in retail sales and customer interaction in a vibrant ethnic‑wear environment.
