## About the Role InfoVision Inc. is looking for an entry‑level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to expand automated regression coverage for embedded media devices. The role is based in Pune Division, Maharashtra, with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote) and offers the chance to work under the guidance of senior and lead engineers. ## Responsibilities - Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs, Java applications, Selenium UI flows, and Postman collections. - Write clear, maintainable test cases using Page Object Model, data‑driven patterns, and BDD with Cucumber/Gherkin. - Collect logs, reproduce issues, and document defects with precise steps and diagnostics. - Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Continuously learn streaming fundamentals, Wi‑Fi debugging, and device‑side logging. ## Required Qualifications - Proficient in Java with strong object‑oriented design principles. - Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. - API testing and automation using Postman and Rest Assured (Java). - Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin). - Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. - Version control using Git/GitHub. - Build and dependency management with Maven; IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse. - CI/CD pipeline integration knowledge (Jenkins). - Defect and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. ## Benefits InfoVision Inc. provides a collaborative environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a hybrid work model that balances on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility.
