## About the role We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our Tank IoT platform. You will work on cloud and mobile solutions, validating functionality from device connectivity through telemetry processing, data accuracy, APIs, reports, and system integrations. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and product teams to identify issues early and deliver high‑quality customer experiences in real‑world field deployments. ## What you'll do - Execute both automated and manual testing for the Tank SaaS platform, including mobile applications, IoT data ingestion pipelines, and firmware. - Develop automation using Playwright, Karate, Selenium/Cypress, and Appium, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. - Perform functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end, smoke/sanity, negative and exploratory testing. - Design and maintain scalable UI, API, and integration automation frameworks, validating backend services, REST APIs, databases, event/message flows, and third‑party integrations. - Identify automation opportunities, improve regression coverage, and promote Shift‑Left quality practices across the development lifecycle. ## Required qualifications - **3+ years** of professional software testing and QA experience for SaaS and mobile platforms. - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and programming in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python optional). - Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP), SQL database testing, and version control (Git). - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). - Good communication, problem‑solving skills and an ownership mindset. ## Preferred qualifications & benefits - Performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6. - Mobile test automation with Appium or similar frameworks. - Experience testing embedded systems, firmware, or connected devices. - Knowledge of security testing principles and AI‑assisted testing tools. - Competitive market‑based salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work at a global industrial‑technology leader.
