## About the Role Plasticure Private Limited is a technology‑driven startup focused on AI‑enabled plastic sorting and recycling. As a Mechatronics Engineer (Fresher), you will join a cross‑functional team of AI, electronics, mechanical, and fabrication experts to develop a fully automated intelligent sorting system for plastic waste. ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and integrate AI‑based computer vision pipelines for object detection, segmentation, tracking and depth‑based localization. - Deploy and optimise AI models on edge computing platforms (e.g., Raspberry Pi) for low‑latency inference. - Build embedded hardware using microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, motor drivers and communication interfaces; integrate cameras, depth sensors, encoders, motors and servos. - Create control logic and embedded software for automated material handling, motion control, and real‑time decision‑making. - Develop mechanical components, select motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and produce CAD models, fabrication drawings and assembly layouts using SolidWorks. - Coordinate with external fabricators, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/embedded issues, and document designs, experiments and test results. ## Required Qualifications - Recent graduate or diploma holder with a strong interest in AI, embedded systems, robotics or automation. - Hands‑on experience (project work, internships, personal projects) in prototyping, electronics, programming or robotics is a plus. - Familiarity with Python, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ROS and SolidWorks. - Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with vendors and fabricators. ## Benefits - Annual CTC of ₹2,00,000 – ₹2,50,000 (Fixed + Variable components). - Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge AI‑driven waste‑sorting technology. - Exposure to end‑to‑end product development from hardware to software. - Learning environment that encourages experimentation and rapid skill growth.
