## About the Role Digital Reach Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Linux Embedded Engineer/Developer to join their Product Engineering team in Bavla-Ahmedabad. The role involves developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable software applications for PLC/SCADA/IoT drivers and related systems. ## What You'll Do - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and modules. - Develop scalable and reliable backend and/or frontend applications. - Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code. - Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs. - Work with databases for data storage, retrieval, and optimization. - Work on real-time data processing, dashboards, reports, and analytics. - Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support. - Collaborate with IoT, automation, QA, product, and operations teams. - Understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. - Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews. - Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices. - Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of applications. ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA preferred). - Strong knowledge of Java / Python / .NET / Node.js or any relevant programming language. - Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL. - Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and web services. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frontend frameworks such as React/Angular (advantage). - Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab and version control. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and debugging techniques. - Good understanding of data structures and algorithms. - Knowledge of real-time data processing. - Exposure to PLC, SCADA, MQTT, OPC-UA or industrial communication protocols. - Experience developing manufacturing dashboards, analytics, or reporting applications. - Minimum 2 years of experience in software development (freshers with strong fundamentals may also be considered). ## Benefits - Full-time position at a growing IoT solutions company. - Opportunity to work on industrial and energy sector projects. - Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
