## About the Role Abstrabit Technologies is building AI‑powered products and solutions. As a **Software Engineer I (SDE1)** you will work on the application layer of these AI products, delivering end‑to‑end features from design to production. You will collaborate with AI engineers and senior software engineers, turning model capabilities into reliable software services. ## What You'll Work On - Build and own frontend and backend product features using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js. - Design and implement APIs, internal services, authentication, queues, file storage, and third‑party integrations. - Integrate applications with AI models, inference services, RAG systems, and AI agents. - Write tests, improve reliability, and monitor deployments on cloud platforms. - Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and debugging across the full stack. ## Required Qualifications - At least **1 year** of full‑stack software development experience. - Strong programming fundamentals with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend or backend framework. - Good understanding of APIs, databases, Git, and common web‑application patterns. - Ability to read and modify existing codebases safely, debug issues, and write basic tests. - Experience owning a feature from development through delivery is a plus. ## Using AI as an Engineer Abstrabit encourages the use of AI tools to accelerate development, but emphasizes engineering judgment.
