## About the role BeaconFire Inc., based in Central NJ with operations in California, is seeking an entry‑level Java Developer. You will join a fast‑growing team focused on building scalable, production‑ready Spring Boot microservices and integrating AI capabilities into our platform. ## What you'll do - Develop full‑stack web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Angular, React.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Design, implement, test, and optimize high‑performance APIs and microservices. - Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, own the end‑to‑end development lifecycle, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. - Implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with Spring AI and LangChain4j, integrating vector databases and fine‑tuning LLM workflows. - Write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and produce technical documentation. ## Required qualifications - Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript. - Understanding of OOP concepts, common data structures, and the software development lifecycle. - Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL. - Familiarity with Spring framework, Maven, and front‑end technologies (React.js, Angular, HTML/CSS). - Basic knowledge of AI/LLM concepts; exposure to Spring AI or LangChain4j is a plus. ## Benefits - Competitive salary range ($65,000 – $80,000 per year). - 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance. - Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge AI integration projects. - Collaborative, Agile environment with growth potential for recent graduates.
