## About the Role The OT Security Architect is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and strengthening the security architecture of both IT and Operational Technology (OT) solutions across on‑premises, cloud, and integration environments. The role ensures that systems are designed and implemented according to security standards, hardening guidelines, and industry best practices, while adapting controls to the unique operational constraints of OT environments. ## What You'll Do - Conduct security architecture reviews for new and existing IT/OT solutions, covering infrastructure, Azure cloud services, applications, and integrations. - Provide security advisory to project teams during design and build phases, ensuring security‑by‑design principles are applied. - Review APIs and integration points to guarantee secure data exchange and proper authentication mechanisms. - Promote secure development practices, oversee encryption & data‑protection measures, and assist teams in producing clear technical documentation. ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Strong understanding of OT security fundamentals (ICS/SCADA), security architecture, network segmentation, and risk assessment. - Hands‑on experience with cloud security, particularly Microsoft Azure, and IAM/MFA implementation. - Proven ability to integrate security controls early in solution design and adapt them to operational constraints. - Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. ## About Lonza Lonza is a global leader in manufacturing medicines, operating over 30 sites across five continents.
