## About the Role WebBoost Solutions by UM is offering a structured Career Launch Internship Program for students to gain practical experience in data science. The internship is remote, lasts 3 months, and is designed to provide mentorship, real‑world projects, and industry exposure. ## Responsibilities - Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets for analysis. - Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and trends. - Assist in developing, testing, and evaluating machine learning models. - Apply basic statistical techniques and create visualizations to communicate findings. - Document model performance, prepare reports, and support project presentations. - Research relevant data‑science tools and collaborate with team members on projects. ## Eligibility & Required Skills - Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. - Strong interest in analytics and machine learning. - Basic knowledge of **Python** and understanding of statistics and data‑analysis concepts. - Familiarity with libraries such as **Pandas** and **NumPy** (preferred). - Basic understanding of **machine learning** concepts (preferred). - Good analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. ## Perks & Benefits - Performance‑based stipend up to ₹7,500. - Internship certificate and a letter of recommendation based on performance. - Swags and goodies. - Opportunity to work on real‑world data‑science projects with mentorship. - Inclusive, equal‑opportunity work environment.
