## About the Role Skillzenloop is seeking enthusiastic backend developer interns to gain hands‑on experience building server‑side components for modern web applications. This full‑time internship (1–3 months) is ideal for fresh graduates or final‑year students with a basic programming foundation who want to dive into APIs, databases, and backend architecture. ## Key Responsibilities - Develop backend functionality using Python, Node.js, or other suitable technologies. - Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs for application features. - Work with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to perform CRUD operations. - Validate API requests, handle responses, and manage authentication/authorization flows. - Write basic unit tests and assist in debugging backend issues. - Document API endpoints, code changes, and technical processes. - Collaborate using Git/GitHub and integrate third‑party services when needed. ## Required Qualifications - Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.). - Basic understanding of server‑side programming and REST API concepts. - Familiarity with HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON. - Fundamental SQL and relational database skills. - Experience with Git or GitHub for version control. - Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with Node.js and Express.js. - Familiarity with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. - Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. - Exposure to JWT or session‑based authentication. - Use of API testing tools like Postman. - Basic understanding of Docker, cloud deployment, and TypeScript. ## What You Will Learn - Building and scaling server‑side application functionality. - Designing and documenting robust REST APIs. - Integrating databases and performing CRUD operations. - Implementing request validation, error handling, and authentication fundamentals. - Working with JSON, HTTP communication, and version‑control workflows. ## Benefits - Stipend of ₹16,500 per month (≈ ₹198,000 per annum, ~0.2 LPA). - Opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in India. - Real‑world project exposure and mentorship from experienced engineers. - Potential for future full‑time opportunities based on performance.
