## About the role Crossing Infotech is offering a Backend Developer Internship for freshers and entry-level candidates interested in server-side development, REST APIs, databases, application logic, and backend technologies. The internship provides practical exposure to building and supporting backend services, working with databases, developing API functionality, testing application behavior, and troubleshooting technical issues under guidance. ## What you'll do - Assist with developing backend features for web and software applications. - Write server-side code using Python, Node.js, or other assigned technologies. - Develop and test basic REST API endpoints and work with relational databases to write SQL queries. - Implement application logic, process and validate data received through application requests. - Assist with API integration and test backend functionality using appropriate testing tools. - Investigate and troubleshoot server-side errors, implement error handling, and maintain technical documentation. - Use Git for source-code management and collaborative development. ## Required qualifications - Freshers, recent graduates, or students in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Tech, MCA, or related fields. - Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Node.js, Java, or similar. - Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, HTTP, and REST API concepts. - Familiarity with JSON, structured data, Git, and version-control concepts. - Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. ## Benefits - Full-time remote internship with a monthly stipend of ₹16,500/month (Duration: 1–3 months). - Practical exposure to backend development, REST APIs, and database integration. - Structured project-based development assignments with mentorship and collaborative workflows.
