## About the role Vowels of the People Association is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team in Pune. This is an entry‑level, full‑time position where you will work on real‑world features for our frontend, mobile app, and backend services that serve millions of users in the education sector. ## What you'll do - Build and ship features across the web frontend, React Native mobile app, and backend services. - Write and maintain APIs using Python/FastAPI and interact with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases. - Debug and resolve production issues reported by teachers and end‑users. - Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and follow Git best practices. - Collaborate closely with senior engineers and the CTO, gradually taking ownership of complete features. ## Required qualifications - Strong programming fundamentals. - Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React. - Basic understanding of Python and backend/API development. - Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL). - Good grasp of Git version‑control. - Ability to read, understand, and debug existing code quickly. ## Nice to have / Benefits - Experience with React Native or Android development. - Knowledge of REST APIs, Redis, asynchronous processing, and Docker. - Prior experience deploying personal projects. - Interest in education technology and public‑impact solutions. - Competitive salary (5‑6 LPA) and opportunity to learn from senior engineers in a non‑profit environment.
