## About the role Dassault Systèmes' Spatial Corporation builds the CGM geometric modeling kernel that powers CATIA and many other 3‑D engineering applications. As a Software Engineer you will contribute to the development and improvement of this kernel, enabling developers to create, edit, and analyze CAD and polyhedral models. ## What you'll do - Design, implement, and optimize core 3‑D geometric modeling algorithms such as feature recognition, meshing, and CAD data preparation. - Write high‑performance C++ code and collaborate with teams worldwide to integrate your work into broader product suites. - Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and testing activities to ensure robustness and quality. - Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and document your solutions. ## Required qualifications - 1+ years of professional programming experience or a Ph.D. in a mathematically intensive STEM field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics). - Strong proficiency in C++ and solid object‑oriented design skills. - Experience with modern languages such as C# or Python is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to test, debug, and troubleshoot complex codebases. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. ## Benefits & compensation Dassault Systèmes offers a competitive salary with a base range of $110,000 – $135,000 (≈ 91 LPA – 112 LPA) plus bonus potential.
