## About the role As a React Native Engineer you will work fully remote on an hourly‑paid contractor basis, reviewing AI‑generated React Native code, mobile app architectures, and technical explanations. You will produce high‑quality reference implementations and step‑by‑step reasoning for complex engineering problems, ensuring correctness, security, performance, reliability, and adherence to best‑practice guidelines. ## What you'll do - Create detailed prompts across React Native topics and write reference answers to guide AI learning. - Evaluate and rank AI responses, improving correctness, security, performance and maintainability. - Test AI outputs for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations, validating reliability across real‑world mobile use cases. - Develop and maintain AI training content, focusing on component patterns, gestures, animations, navigation, native‑module integration, and platform‑specific behavior. ## Required qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering. - **4+ years** of professional experience building production mobile apps, with at least **2 years** in React Native. - Strong proficiency in **TypeScript** and modern **React** (hooks, state‑management patterns, memoization). - Hands‑on experience with React Native fundamentals: components, lists, image handling, deep links, notifications, and navigation (e.g., React Navigation). - Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform specifics, debugging, and performance optimisation (jank, bundle size, startup time). - Experience with testing frameworks such as **Jest**, **React Native Testing Library**, and end‑to‑end tools like **Detox** or **Appium**; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. - Minimum C1 English proficiency for clear technical writing. - Prior experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI‑generated technical content is a strong plus. ## Benefits - Flexible remote work with the ability to choose your own hours. - Access to a network of future AI‑related projects and expert collaborations. - Opportunity to influence the quality of AI models used by millions of developers worldwide. - Competitive hourly compensation.
