## About the role The Bluetooth Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and validating Bluetooth features on automotive infotainment platforms. The role encompasses working on the Android/Linux Bluetooth stack, BT profiles and protocols, interoperability, performance optimization, and debugging complex BT issues across telematics, platform, UI/UX, and OEM teams. ## What you'll do - Develop, customize, and integrate Bluetooth stack components (Fluoride stack/BlueZ or OEM BT stack) and extend BT profiles like HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, HID, PAN, and BLE GATT profiles. - Handle audio path routing, SCO/eSCO processing, and tune audio performance while debugging latency, stutter, and synchronization issues. - Develop and integrate BLE profiles, GATT services, scanning/advertising, pairing/bonding, and coexistence strategies with Wi-Fi. - Perform root cause analysis for field issues using HCI snoop logs, Air Sniffer logs, btmon/btsnoop, adb/logcat, and QXDM, interacting directly with chipset vendors (Qualcomm, MediaTek, CSR, TI). - Support Bluetooth IOP testing, compliance with Bluetooth SIG requirements, and execution of PTS test cases in Launch Studio. ## Required qualifications - Strong experience with Bluetooth stack internals (Android Fluoride stack or BlueZ) and BT Classic/BLE protocols (L2CAP, SDP, GATT, RFCOMM, AVDTP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, HFP AT commands). - Proficiency in C/C++, Java (Android stack), and Linux/Android system programming. - Solid understanding of BT controllers, HCI layer, LE privacy, address types, and BT/Wi-Fi coexistence. - Familiarity with audio frameworks (AudioFlinger, audio HAL) and RTOS environments with BLE chipset vendor SDKs (e.g., Nordic Semi). - Experience with software quality processes, static analysis, unit testing, and automotive A-SPICE standards.
