## About the Role Cisco’s Security & Trust Organization (STO) is responsible for embedding security across all Cisco products. The Cloud Assurance, Readiness & Compliance (CloudARC) team within STO ensures that Cisco’s cloud offerings meet the highest security and compliance standards. As an Information Security Engineer you will help maintain and expand these certifications for Cisco’s global cloud portfolio. ## What You’ll Do - Support security compliance and regulatory audits for Cisco’s cloud services (SOC 2, ISO 27001/17/18, ENS, C5, etc.). - Work with compliance engineers to develop common control strategies and ensure consistency across audits. - Partner with Business Units to drive adoption of common cloud controls and act as a subject‑matter expert for security frameworks. - Conduct security assessments of product portfolios, produce compliance reports, and define remediation plans. - Contribute to product compliance roadmaps and support data‑privacy, security, and cloud‑compliance initiatives. ## Required Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in security or compliance roles. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. - Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. - Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001/17/18, SOC 2, C5, ENS. - Understanding of Secure SDLC, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, and Backup/Disaster Recovery. - Strong communication skills and ability to work with auditors and cross‑functional teams. ## Preferred Skills & Benefits - Certifications like CISA, CISSP, CCSK. - Master’s degree in a related discipline. - Opportunity to work at a global leader in networking and security, contributing to trusted cloud services. - Collaborative environment with continuous learning and growth opportunities.
