## About the role BNP Paribas Wealth Management is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support its transformation programs, specifically to onboard applications onto IBM Cloud by 2026. The role sits within the Cloud team and collaborates with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Development teams to modernize and automate the bank's IT landscape. ## What you'll do - Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployments. - Containerize legacy applications and support Docker/Kubernetes environments. - Assist and train other operations profiles on Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes. - Contribute to provisioning, configuration, deployment, and disaster‑recovery activities across cloud platforms. ## Required qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. - 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering. - Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with a cloud provider (IBM, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). - At least 2 years of experience with Ansible and Docker. - Strong Linux command‑line skills and proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting. - Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins, Travis, or Concourse. - Certifications (preferred): Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, HashiCorp Vault Associate. ## Benefits BNP Paribas offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to global banking operations.
