## About the role At PwC, our cybersecurity professionals protect organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. As a cybersecurity generalist you will provide comprehensive security solutions across multiple domains, ensuring the protection of client systems and data while applying a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles. ## Responsibilities - Round‑the‑clock threat monitoring, detection and analysis of suspicious or malicious behaviour. - Alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, severity classification and prioritisation. - Create and manage incidents according to SOPs, report and escalate to stakeholders. - Conduct post‑incident analysis, maintain incident response policies and procedures, and preserve artefacts for forensic purposes. - Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), aiming to reduce Mean Time to Detection (MTTD) and Mean Time to Response (MTTR). ## Mandatory skill sets - Experience in SOC/Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, SOC platform management, Automation, Asset Integration, Threat Intel Management or Threat Hunting (minimum 2‑4 years). - Certifications such as Certified SOC Analyst, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator, Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (any one). - Strong analytical skills for alert triage, forensic preservation and incident recommendation using playbooks. ## Why PwC (Benefits) PwC offers a vibrant community of solvers, inclusive benefits, flexibility programmes and mentorship.
