Job description
## About the role Flexiple, a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high‑performing teams in India, is looking for an Automation Engineer to own test and release automation across its main product line. You will decide what gets automated first, balancing risk (the "fear") against coverage gaps. ## What you'll do - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for functional and release testing. - Keep the CI pipeline fast and reliable, ensuring that automated checks run efficiently on every commit. - Evaluate test candidates, choosing to automate only when it adds value and recommending removal when automation is not worthwhile. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand release criteria and gate releases based on automated test results. ## Required qualifications - 3 to 7 years of experience in test automation or release engineering. - Strong programming skills in **Python**, **Java**, or **TypeScript**. - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and maintaining fast build pipelines. - Ability to design robust test automation strategies and frameworks. - Good judgment to prioritize automation work based on risk and impact. ## Benefits - Opportunity to shape automation strategy for a fast‑growing US‑headquartered product company. - Work from any of the major Indian tech hubs (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Delhi NCR) or remotely within India. - Collaborative environment with a focus on engineering excellence and continuous improvement. - Exposure to a global client base through Flexiple’s marketplace model.
