## About the Role Goonj AI is an early‑stage, stealth‑mode AI product startup building a voice‑first conversational platform for young professionals. The role is based in Lucknow and involves building and owning the front‑end experience across our mobile app, website, and AI‑assisted creative tools. You will start by integrating vendor‑delivered designs and gradually become the custodian of the entire UI surface. ## What You'll Do - **UI Integration & Vendor Collaboration**: Take React Native components delivered by UI/UX vendors, wire them to backend APIs (REST & WebSocket), and ensure seamless hand‑off to production. - **Front‑End Development & Ownership**: Implement responsive screens, fix bugs, improve performance, and create reusable component patterns for both mobile and web. - **Website & AI‑Assisted Creative**: Enhance our marketing website and build lightweight workflows that leverage AI tools for ad creation and other creative assets. - **Communication & Collaboration**: Work directly with the founder, translate technical trade‑offs for non‑technical stakeholders, and flag risks early. ## Required Qualifications - 1+ year of professional experience building front‑end software. - Strong proficiency in **React** (components, hooks, state management with Redux or equivalent), **JavaScript/TypeScript**, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Sass. - Hands‑on experience integrating **REST APIs** and handling loading/error states. - Solid debugging and profiling skills using browser and React DevTools. - Proficient with **Git/GitHub** and comfortable working in an Agile, vendor‑collaborative environment. ## Preferred (Not Required) - Experience with **React Native** for mobile apps. - Collaboration with external UI/UX vendors or Figma hand‑offs. - Exposure to AI tools and LLM APIs (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter). - Familiarity with WebSocket, voice/conversational interfaces, and basic AWS concepts. ## Benefits & Growth - Direct, in‑person collaboration with the founder and a small, high‑impact team. - Opportunity to shape the front‑end architecture and become the UI custodian within the first six months. - Access to cutting‑edge AI tooling (Claude, Cursor, Gemini, etc.) and a culture that values honest, direct communication. - Stealth product exposure from day one, with clear milestones for the first 30, 90, and 180 days.
