## About the role Scoutit is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join its product quality team in Bengaluru. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and managers to ensure the delivery of reliable, high‑quality software across our banking‑focused solutions. ## Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project goals and define testable acceptance criteria. - Create, manage, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases. - Set up and maintain test environments and automation frameworks. - Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed diagnostics, and work with developers to resolve issues. - Participate in sprint/release planning, providing test effort estimates and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. - Document test results, produce detailed reports, and ensure compliance with national and international quality standards. ## Required qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. - 1–2 years of hands‑on testing experience, preferably in web‑based applications (front‑end and back‑end). - Strong knowledge of test planning, test case management, and testing methodologies. - Experience with automation tools such as Selenium using Python or JavaScript. - Familiarity with version‑control systems (GitLab, Bitbucket) and CI/Agile environments. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small, high‑efficiency team. ## Benefits - Opportunity to work on banking domain projects. - Exposure to modern test automation frameworks and CI pipelines. - Collaborative and fast‑paced environment encouraging proactive work ethic and continuous learning.
