## About the role Homed-UK, a UK‑based proptech startup, is looking for 1–2 QA / Software Testing Interns to join its product team. This remote, flexible internship is aimed at university students, recent graduates, or early‑career candidates in India who are eager to learn how a live software product is built and tested. ## What you'll do - Perform manual functional and exploratory testing of new and existing platform features. - Test complete user journeys across desktop, mobile, browsers and different screen sizes. - Identify, reproduce and document bugs with clear steps, screenshots and expected behaviour. - Create and maintain test cases, checklists and bug reports. - Retest fixes, verify that new features match requirements and designs, and provide usability feedback. - Collaborate directly with a 4‑person development team, explaining issues and helping reproduce bugs. - Optionally explore automated testing, development workflows, product management and software engineering concepts. ## What we're looking for - Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity about how things work. - Clear communication skills, especially when describing problems. - Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and ask for help when needed. - Organized, reliable and comfortable working remotely with an international team. - Interest in technology; prior testing experience is a plus but not required. ## Internship structure - **Location:** Remote – India - **Working pattern:** Flexible around university or other commitments (up to 40 hrs/week). - **Duration:** 2‑3 months, stipend‑based. - **Team:** Direct collaboration with a 4‑person software development team. - **Compensation:** Stipend (candidates may state their expectations). - Strong performers may be considered for future opportunities as Homed grows.
