## About the role We are looking for a **Jetpack Android Developer Intern** who is eager to gain hands‑on experience building Android applications with Jetpack Compose and Kotlin. You will join the engineering team behind **DhyanApp**, an AI‑powered Vedic wellness super‑app, and help shape its cross‑platform user experience. ## Responsibilities - Assist in developing and maintaining DhyanApp using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin. - Work with Jetpack components such as ViewModels and Navigation to implement a modern MVVM architecture. - Support Compose Multiplatform efforts to deliver consistent UI on Android and iOS. - Integrate RESTful APIs and Firebase Firestore for real‑time data handling. - Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to create intuitive UI/UX. - Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure app stability. - Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code under mentorship. ## Required qualifications - Currently in the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, EE, or a related field. - Basic understanding of **Kotlin** and **Jetpack Compose**. - Hands‑on exposure to **Compose Multiplatform**. - Familiarity with the Android SDK and MVVM architecture. - Knowledge of **Firebase Firestore** and REST APIs. - Strong problem‑solving mindset and eagerness to learn. ## Preferred skills (nice to have) - Experience with **Kotlin Coroutines** and **Flow**. - Exposure to libraries such as **Coil** (image loading) and **ExoPlayer** (media). - Interest in cross‑platform development and modern app frameworks. - Contributions to personal or open‑source Android/Compose projects. - Experience using AI‑assisted development tools like Claude AI or ChatGPT. ## Additional information - This is a **paid internship**; a stipend will be provided. - You will work onsite at our India office, collaborating closely with the product and engineering teams. - Opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to a cutting‑edge wellness platform.
