## About the Role We are looking for a hands‑on backend/full‑stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team on‑site at our Kochi office. You will build high‑performance APIs, web applications, and automated backend workflows using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud technologies. The role focuses on serverless architectures that power thousands of e‑commerce merchants globally. ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high‑speed web applications, RESTful APIs, and micro‑services using Node.js and TypeScript. - Implement serverless solutions with Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare D1, and edge computing. - Write clean SQL queries, design optimized schemas, handle authentication, and integrate third‑party APIs. - Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and solid Git‑based workflows. - Own features end‑to‑end—from requirement gathering to deployment and post‑release monitoring. ## What We’re Looking For - 1–3 years of hands‑on development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, modern JS frameworks, and REST API design. - Experience with serverless platforms (Cloudflare Workers/D1) and SQL databases. - Familiarity with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and basic troubleshooting. ## Bonus Points - Knowledge of additional Cloudflare products such as KV, R2, or Queues. - Experience with Docker and containerisation workflows. - Prior work on Shopify apps, SaaS products, or e‑commerce integrations. ## Why Join Us? - Build software that serves thousands of global brands and millions of end users. - Work with cutting‑edge serverless technologies and a modern tech stack. - Grow in a high‑ownership engineering culture with direct mentorship in our Kochi office.
