## About the Role Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems and real‑time capabilities that support space‑mission operations. The role involves modernising legacy components, architecting new mission‑focused capabilities, and improving performance, resilience, and operational speed for GEOINT and space operations. ## What You'll Do - Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Python, Rust, or Go. - Work with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) to build scalable solutions. - Collaborate in cross‑functional Agile teams, leveraging Linux‑based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Gather client requirements, automate workflows, and optimise processes. - Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines. ## Required Qualifications - 1+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, Rust, or Go. - Experience writing source code for new applications and enhancing existing codebases. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle). - Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. - Bachelor’s degree in a related field. ## Nice to Have - Agile development experience. - Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and other container technologies. - Experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.js. - Experience with automated testing tools. - Master’s degree (preferred). ## Benefits & Compensation Booz Allen offers health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent‑care support. The projected compensation range is $69,400 – $158,000 USD (approximately 57 LPA – 131 LPA).
