## About the Role Walmart Global Tech India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Bangalore team. You will be part of a global engineering group that powers Walmart International’s supply‑chain and customer‑experience platforms, serving millions of users across more than 20 countries. ## What You'll Do - Design, code, unit‑test, and maintain high‑performance, scalable applications for supply‑chain management and customer experience. - Develop RESTful web services and APIs, applying design patterns and best practices. - Work with data stores such as Oracle, Cosmos DB and other NoSQL technologies, and implement efficient data‑structure and algorithm solutions. - Contribute to Kafka‑based data pipelines and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable delivery. ## Required Qualifications - 5‑8 years of professional software engineering experience. - Expert knowledge of Java, J2EE and related frameworks. - Strong understanding of RESTful services, API development, and design patterns. - Hands‑on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Cosmos DB). - Familiarity with Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s a plus). ## Benefits - Competitive compensation package with performance incentives. - Comprehensive health, maternity & parental leave, PTO and other best‑in‑class benefits. - Inclusive culture that values diversity and belonging. - Opportunities for continuous learning, skill development, and career growth within a global retailer. ## About Walmart Global Tech Walmart Global Tech drives technology innovation for the world’s largest retailer.
